Withdrawal Policy

This Withdrawal Policy applies to consumer purchases made through www.german-care.com This policy applies only to consumers. A consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take possession of the goods.

For an order delivered in several partial shipments, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take possession of the last goods.

EU consumer rules confirm that consumers can generally withdraw from distance purchases within 14 days from delivery, subject to certain exceptions. If the consumer is not properly informed about the withdrawal right, the withdrawal period may be extended.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice.

This does not apply to additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

We will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any refund fees.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

Return of Goods

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen (14) day period expires.

Return Shipping Costs

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise or unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Loss of Value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

This means you may inspect the products in a way comparable to checking them in a physical shop. However, excessive use, damage, contamination, removal of hygiene seals, or use beyond inspection may reduce or exclude the refund amount, subject to applicable law.

Exclusion of Withdrawal for Hygiene-Sealed Goods

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

For hygiene and health protection reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened, unsealed, used, contaminated, damaged, or where the hygiene seal, safety seal, protective wrapping, or tamper-evident closure has been removed after delivery.

This exclusion is based on the German Civil Code rules for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.

Defective or Incorrect Products

The exclusion for opened hygiene-sensitive products does not affect your statutory rights if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.

No Withdrawal Right for Business Customers

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers, resellers, distributors, or customers acting in the course of trade, business, or professional activity.

Electronic Withdrawal Function

Where legally required, we provide an electronic withdrawal function on our website.

From 19 June 2026, Germany introduces a new electronic withdrawal function requirement under § 356a BGB for certain online B2C distance contracts concluded through an online user interface. Businesses should make sure the withdrawal function is clearly accessible during the withdrawal period.
